Kawai RX1 Baby Grand Piano Description
Product Description
This is a one-owner piano in excellent shape. The cabinet has the classic ebony satin finish, looks great and is free of any damage. The piano plays with great response, the action is quick, offering the player full control and the ability to create rich, wide dynamics with deep bass and treble clarity.
Key Features
- Size: It is 5 feet 5 inches long and 58 inches wide, offering a big grand piano sound in a smaller footprint.Â
- Action: Features Kawai’s responsive action (including the advanced Millennium III composite action in post-2005 models) which resists moisture and humidity changes to prevent sticky keys.Â
- Tone: The RX1 has a warm, rich, and singing tone with great sustain, steering away from the overly bright sound like other Japanese pianos.Â
- Materials: Kawai Uses NEOTEX key surfaces (made of cellulose fiber to mimic natural ivory and ebony), the agraffes provide clear string spacing, and a duplex scale for enhanced treble harmonics.
- Design: High-end consumer build quality (the predecessor to the modern GX series) with practical details like a soft-close fallboard.
