The Petrof model III (6ft4in) grand piano has the greatest sound potential. It is intended to be used for demanding individual pianists, higher music schools, and for concerts in smaller halls, churches and clubs. It produces the characteristic PETROF sound.
The solid construction of the rim of the P 194 Storm grand piano ensures high and longterm tuning stability and action regulation as well as sound board crown stability which is a prerequisite for perfect performance.
Soundboard
The soundboard is made from European spruce. It has a symmetric crown and is shaped into wedge block. Thickness 9 mm in front, tapered to 7 mm in bass arc.
Ribs
Traditionally shaped, very exactly worked ribs from European spruce supports a symmetric crown of the sound board.

The PETROF action is quick and with good repetition. Specifically profiled aluminium action rails are very stable also in changing humidity. The action enables the P IV grand piano to be played confidently, even technically demanding passages, and to have full control of creating tones.
